RULES OF STAFETA BOUTIQUE
APARTMENTS
1. Definitions
Service Provider (Host): Stafétaház Kft. (2600 Vác, Széchenyi utca 25., Hungary), providing accommodation services for consideration.
Guest: A natural or legal person utilizing the accommodation services.
Contractual Partner: The natural or legal person who places the booking and enters into the accommodation contract.
Accommodation Contract: The agreement concluded between the Service Provider and the Contractual Partner.
2. Booking and Payment Conditions
Pre-booking: Established when the Guest initiates a booking and the Service Provider confirms it via email.
Finalized Booking: Considered complete once the total service fee is paid in cash on-site or transferred to the Service Provider's bank account (as a deposit) at least 3 days prior to arrival.
Payment: The total amount is payable in advance. The Tourism Tax (IFA) must be paid in cash upon arrival (credit/debit card payment is not available). Any bank transfer fees are to be covered by the Guest.
3. Modification and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: Only written cancellations are accepted.
More than 5 days before arrival: Cancellation or modification is free of charge.
5 to 1 days before arrival: 50% of the service fee will be charged.
Within 24 hours or in case of a No-Show: 100% of the total service fee will be charged as a penalty; no refund is available.
Cancellation by Service Provider: If the deposit is not received by the deadline, or if the Guest does not arrive by 6:00 PM on the scheduled arrival day (without prior notice of delay), the Service Provider may withdraw from the contract.
4. Check-in and House Rules
Conclusion of Contract: Occurs upon check-in, finalized by signing the Registration Form.
Inspection: The Guest is required to inspect the apartment and its equipment within 1 hour of check-in and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Standard Hours:
Check-in: Between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Check-out: Between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
Early arrival or late check-out is subject to availability and an additional fee.
Smoking: SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED in all indoor areas of the apartments. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas (courtyard). A 10,000 HUF "smoke removal fee" will be charged for smoking inside the rooms.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the premises.
5. Amenities and Security
Complimentary Services: Wi-Fi access (at Guest's own risk), Netflix subscription, and upon request: baby cot, baby bath, and step stool.
Parking: Free parking is available at the P+R parking lot near the Vác railway station. Paid parking is available in the nearby underground garage or on the surrounding streets.
Prohibited Items: Corrosive, flammable, or explosive materials, firearms, drugs, and high-value artworks may not be brought onto the premises without written permission.
Valuables: The Service Provider assumes no liability for undeclared high-value items.
6. Liability and Extraordinary Circumstances
Damages: The Guest is fully liable for any damages caused by themselves or their party. A report will be filed for any damages, and the cost will be based on the official Equipment List or expert assessment.
Illness or Death: In case of illness, the Host may call for medical assistance at the Guest's expense. All related costs (medical fees, transportation, required disinfection of room/bedding, or loss of room availability) shall be borne by the Guest or their successor.
Lost Property: Found items are kept for 30 days. Items can be returned by post for a service fee of 2,000 HUF plus shipping costs, payable in advance.
7. Termination of Contract
The Service Provider may terminate the contract with immediate effect if the Guest:
Uses the accommodation in an inappropriate manner or hosts unauthorized guests.
Engages in behavior that violates the rules of communal living or endangers others.
Suffers from a contagious disease that poses a risk to other guests or staff.
